Service Description
We would like to invite your daughter to an exclusive event that will empower young girls to reframe negative thinking, manage anxiety, and learn valuable tools to improve Gratitude. Using a strengths-based, cognitive behavioural and solution-focused approach, she will gain practical tools to make everyday challenges easier to handle, boost her self-esteem, and enhance her resilience. Over two hours, participants will enjoy making Gratitude Journals while learning to calm their brains when overwhelmed and practical tools to improve happiness and emotional well-being. Racheal Wallis is an experienced facilitator and registered social worker (NZSWRB) who has led successful programs for young people aged 8 to 25 in New Zealand, London, and Los Angeles. Her passion? Crafting transformative programmes to empower young people with the necessary skills to navigate the preteen and teenage years. Join us for this fun, purposeful event and be part of the experience! Here is what our previous participants say: "It was fun and creative." "I didn't want to leave - it felt like it was only 5 minutes long." What did you learn? "How to think about positive things first and say positive things to myself when I feel sad or angry." "The worksheet made me realise that my thoughts make an impact and changed how I felt." "To believe and respect myself." "I'm not alone with my problems." "I enjoyed making the journals because they are something I will use, and they were just fun to do." "I liked making the journals because they were fun, and they really helped me explore my creative side."
