Service Description
Join us for an amazing Girls Time course with purposeful and creative activities to enhance social and emotional wellness. Over six weeks, participants will be empowered and equipped with practical tools and strategies to confidently navigate the pre- and teenage years, which can be challenging and fraught with adverse situations. Our program is designed to strengthen resilience and well-being skills to handle these challenges positively and confidently and have fun along the way. The course covers managing stress, regulating emotions, reducing anxiety, self-care, friendships, having a growth mindset and more. Just as we teach academic skills, providing young people with valuable well-being skills that apply to all areas of life is equally important. Learning how to navigate emotional well-being positively early on can have a lasting impact in all areas of our lives and will contribute to how we can live a healthy and successful life long term. Week One - Special Qualities, Self-Esteem And Importance of Being Me. Week Two - Friendships - Healthy Friendships and Conflict Resolution. Week Three - Valuable Mindsets and How to Have a Growth Mindset. Week Four - Regulating Emotions and Improving A Negative Mood. Week Five - The importance of self-care and strategies to calm down when overwhelmed. Week Six- Stress - Tools to manage stress and reduce anxiety. Meet Racheal Wallis, a Registered Social Worker (NZSWRB) and experienced facilitator, who has worked with young people and families in New Zealand, London, and Los Angeles, over the past two decades. Her passion? Crafting transformative programs that inspire and empower young people aged 8-25 to navigate the pre- and teenage years and beyond successfully.
